A phenomenal company in so many ways. Quality service and great people. From the initial consultation to every single service it is evident they have a handle on all the details. Lorie, the owner, is incredible, thorough and patient. Kaylee texts me the day before my service to let me know they are coming and the professional technicians always Clean up if necessary and email an after service summary detailing the service, very beneficial as a reference. My yard was in pitiful shape, more weeds than grass, pests and fire ants. I thought it would be months to see improvement. I’ve seen improvement in 3 months. Great results and terrific people. Lawn Doctor has been treating my yard since March of 2026 I had good grass but I had a lot of weeds out growing my grass and I had bare spots Where I had just dug up the weeds but I was getting nowhere and then I decided to to get a professional to come evaluate my lawn and tell me what was needed after only two treatments Over 4 months my bald spots are regrowing and the weeds are almost all gone and am getting compliments about how green and lush my yard is If you want a better lawn callLawn Doctor . ~ Clifford M

I am so glad to be using Lawn Doctor run by Lorie and Jeff for my yard. I had him treat the yard for ants and I haven’t had any since he treated it. But the BEST thing that they offer is the treatment for mosquitos! It is worth the investment! It was so nice being able to be outside at any time and not be eaten alive by mosquitos! This was our attempt to allow Lawn Doctor to manage our lawn, instead of spending hundreds of dollars on cheap fertilizer. Just WOW, what a deference. Jeff came in and did a couple liquid aeration treatment, along with "commercial" grade fertilizer. Again, what a difference, no more weeds, and we've never seen our gross so strong, green, and coming back to life :-) Thank you Lawn Doctor !! This franchise is locally owned by caring and friendly people. Lawn Doctor just started taking care of our yard. They let us know what they are doing, when they will be here, and they don’t rush to move onto the next yard. They take care of everything from pretreatments of mosquitoes & ants to weed prevention and fertilizer with access to tests and experts to see what our yard needs. Goodbye weeds!! I just switched to Lawn Doctor for this year’s lawn treatments. Husband and wife team came out and met with me for measurements and quotation. I have had my first treatment in February and I am very pleased. Their quote is for 7 treatments a year compared to 5 with other companies in Texarkana. It is a little more than last year but everything has increased in price. I believe if you are looking for an honest and reliable company you will not go wrong with Lawn Doctor. ~ Darryl J

In 2006 we bought a new home. I took a chance and had Zoysia grass installed. It turned out to be the the best ever. the remaining homes built all had zoysia and we’re glad with the results. Fast forward to the last 2 years in another new home also with Zoysia. This spring when lawns started green I had a lot of dead spots in the front and back yard. I called the people who were taking care of the grass and asked why this was happening. They blamed it on fungus. I knew that was not right so I told them they lost a customer. After looking at other companied I settled a Lawn Doctor. Jeff and Lori Walling came and told me they needed to start with a sample of the dirt. When the results came back it was deficient in 3 minerals which were needed. Jeff said he would use liquid fertilizer and a liquid to loosen the hard ground. Three weeks later my grass was responding to the treatment by geeening up. Now it’s been 7 or 8 weeks and all of the brown spots are gone and I’ve have the best lawn on the street again. Trust these people with your lawn and you will be amazed at the results. ~ Nelton a

Do you want the yard everyone envies? I did too. The amount of knowledge the owners displayed made them my choice hands down. I described over the phone my issue and he nailed it! He told me the names of the weeds and how they needed to be treated. The desire to make sure you’re satisfied and get just what you need speaks volumes of their customer service. We had Lawn Doctor of Texarkana come out to service our yard and were impressed from the beginning when they did a soil sample. We have only had our first treatment with Lawn Doctor and can tell that it is doing a great job of killing the weeds. We got started late in the year but are excited to see how the yard looks in the Spring.
